Signature Silver Studs Made in Naples
One of Ambra’s most distinctive design elements is the trio of elliptical silver studs placed on the upper flap. These refined embellishments, in harmony with silver-toned hardware, lend a cool and sophisticated character to the bag’s architectural silhouette.
Yet they are far more than decoration. Meticulously developed through a series of prototypes in Naples, these studs represent a bold departure from traditional forms.

“I was searching for something new. After time, patience, and collaboration with artisans, we finally arrived at the perfect ellipse—modern yet delicate, geometric yet full of life,” says Lorenzi.
Instead of the usual circular, pyramid, or square studs, Lorenzi worked with metal artisans to pursue an entirely new vision. Starting with 3D modeling and resin prototypes, each version was tested on an actual bag to evaluate balance and curvature in real dimensions. Only then was the final mold created—producing a stud that feels intentional yet organic.

A Precise, Architectural Structure
Ambra’s construction was perfected through extensive collaboration with artisans in Teramo. Its structure features robust front and back panels—called “quadranti”—juxtaposed with slightly more flexible side panels. This duality lends the bag both presence and grace.
Even the visible stitching is a deliberate design feature—an audacious choice that demands technical perfection. Every stitch, every angle, must be executed with absolute precision. The result is a clear, orderly geometry that highlights the excellence of its craftsmanship.
Italian Calfskin – Strength and Softness in Balance
The selected material is supple, smooth Italian calfskin. It follows the contours of the bag’s structure with ease, never appearing rigid. With a powdery texture, it offers the strength required for structured forms while also delivering warmth and tactile elegance. This leather perfectly expresses the spirit of Ambra—structured yet pliant, sophisticated yet designed for daily life.
Sculptural Circular Detail
The bag’s poetic focal point is a circular leather detail at the center of the flap. More than just a decorative ring, it consists of a domed base with a recessed core, into which a metal disc is inlaid. This disc is wrapped by hand in square-cut leather, then pressed with a roller to create a seamless, smooth, dome-like finish.
Every step of this process is done entirely by hand. It demands extreme precision, time, and concentration. Slight variations in curvature, tone, or stitching may occur—each one a testament to true craftsmanship. No two Ambra bags are exactly alike.

Ambra can be carried by its sculptural top handle or worn crossbody or on the shoulder using its detachable, adjustable strap. This versatility allows it to transform from an elegant evening bag to a refined everyday companion.
