At Vetrina Mia, our promise is clear and unwavering: every handbag we offer is genuinely Made in Italy.
Recently, many major luxury brands have been exposed on social media for allegedly marketing products as “Made in Italy” when in fact they were produced elsewhere—often in China. We cannot speak to the internal workings of other companies, and it’s not our place to pass judgment. But we recognize that these revelations and accusations have led many consumers to question what Made in Italy truly means—and whether it still holds value.
For us, the answer is simple: it absolutely does.
Our creative directors personally visit and collaborate with every one of our Italian factory and supplier partners. We’ve seen the facilities, met the artisans, and remain hands-on throughout the design and production process during development almost daily, to ensure every bag reflects the quality and spirit of true Italian craftsmanship.
Leathers and accessories, all are sourced from Italian suppliers of quality. Each shipment we receive from our production partners includes an official Certificate of Italian Origin, confirming the provenance of the goods, an example of which we share above. While we cannot share our suppliers’ names due to NDAs, we can trace every product back to its exact source.
As a result, we would like to reassure our valued customers that at Vetrina Mia, we take full legal responsibility for the authenticity of our supply chain. And we stand behind it with complete confidence: if even one product is proven not to be Made in Italy, we will shut down our operations and offer full compensation to each customer—including €10,000 compensation for each item purchased.
That is our level of commitment. Because to us, Made in Italy is not just a label—it’s a responsibility we honor, bag by bag.
