The "Versailles Gardens" collection is a fusion of French elegance and modern femininity

Paris, France – April 6, 2025 – Following the debut of the elegant “Beaumont” bag, Frédéric Lesellier introduces the imaginative world behind it: the “Versailles Gardens” collection. This refined collection is conceived as an homage to French art and history, and to the timeless grace of women throughout the ages.

Inspired by the meticulous beauty of the Trianon Palace gardens, the collection is the result of in-depth research into 17th- and 18th-century French Baroque architecture, decorative arts, and court fashion. Romantic yet understated, classic yet modern, it embodies a timeless charm that bridges past and present.

“Versailles and its gardens are the common thread that ties all my inspirations together,” says Lesellier. “This feminine and elegant collection is divided into four themes, each one reflecting the world of that era and the women who lived within it.”

The collection is divided into four themes:

  1. Timeless Elegance – Sophisticated and minimal designs that resonate with the modern urban woman.
  2. Opulent Style – Models adorned with Baroque-inspired ornamentation and gold detailing for a touch of splendor.
  3. Sumptuous Gardens – Organic forms and botanical motifs that convey lightness and natural beauty.
  4. Sculptural Femininity – Voluminous silhouettes and details inspired by Baroque-era gowns.

At the heart of this universe is the Beaumont bag, known for its compact and structured form. First unveiled in this spring’s campaign, Early Spring Sojourn in Florence, it stands as a signature piece embodying Frédéric Lesellier’s aesthetic. The bag captures both French romanticism and Italian craftsmanship.

The city of Florence, where the campaign was shot, is far more than just a beautiful backdrop. It was carefully chosen as the place to complete the narrative of this bag.

“But this is more than just a backdrop,” says Lesellier. “This bag is made right here in Tuscany, at one of Italy’s renowned leather workshops. Every hand that touches the leather carries a story of craftsmanship passed down through generations—a quiet passion embedded in every gesture.

The Beaumont was born from that spirit: a spirit of excellence, meticulous care, and a love for the craft that needs no words.”

Designed in France and handcrafted by leather artisans in Tuscany, near Florence, the Versailles Gardens collection embodies Frédéric Lesellier’s philosophy: that beauty, meaning, and heritage are not just decorative, but a way of life.
