Marina Lorenzi

You could say that I have been 'breathing' fashion since birth. My father was a famous entrepreneur in this sector. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by this magical world so elegant, refined and full of colour. I remember that when I would go with him to his fashion company, I would take small pieces of fabric and fine, colourful fabrics to make skirts for my dolls.

My studies were artistic studies, first at the Liceo Artistico in my hometown of Bergamo, and then I moved to the metropolis of Milan, and attended the Istituto Marangoni, which is internationally recognised as one of the main training schools in the field of fashion, design and art. While attending, I realised that the world of leather goods could be the sector I was most passionate about. The way I could best express myself, because the handbag is a metaphor for women. It has an exterior image, but then it encapsulates an entire world. Every woman finds in it her intimacy, her secrets, her vulnerabilities and her dreams. And the bag, like the woman, can be closed to the outside world or open up and make itself known.

I have collaborated with many important Italian and foreign brands for which I have designed many collections of bags and this has given me a lot of experience, which I hope will be recognised and accepted by my new clients, who I hope will be you who visit the MARINA LORENZI brand, learning to love and accept it, and I really hope to be worthy of it.

I believe my strength is the courage to accept challenges. Sometimes this has been held back by choices of love. Now I accept this challenge because I am sure that in addition to my creativity I will also be able to bring love through my creations'.
