My name is Maria Ines Datei.
My childhood was cradled by the stories and colors of my land.
I feel part of the great Po River, which caresses the Po Valley.
The fog, its colors, the scents are a fundamental inspiration for my Art.
I started out as an Illustrator of botanical watercolors, and my love for miniatures and details led me to evolve my passion to the world of photography and later fashion.
Before making a dress, I have the final image in mind and my process is backwards.
Like a blank canvas I make pieces to bring the image to life.
Because I understand fashion as art, as an expression of one's experiences, life, dreams.
