Design is a cathartic action that has the power to regenerate me, where not only my passions but also my deepest emotions converge. In fashion, I love the liberating power, but above all, the ability to interpret and modify elements of society, giving them a new symbolic meaning to create new imaginaries.
I like to think that I can imprint my garments with an energy that merges with the energy of the wearer, and it is in the interaction between these two energies that the necessary balance is found to express ourselves.
My goal is to imagine a world open to inspirations and influences but also capable of inspiring, elevating personal freedom by rethinking it in harmony with nature. Together, we can imagine a place where we can share our journeys and aspirations.
Inspiration, for me, is a continuous flow that can come from unexpected moments—a discussion, a movie, a monument, or even reading a book to my children. To quote writer and activist Brenda Ueland, "Inspiration does not come like a bolt, nor is it kinetic, energetic, striving, but it comes slowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing."
